Tera Tehnopolis d.o.o., the EIT Food Hub Croatia, organises a workshop named beeB Plan Event on 26 October 2021. The event held within the EIT Food programme is organised in synergy with the beeB project.

EIT Food is Europe’s leading food innovation initiative, working to make the food system more sustainable, healthy and trusted. Its mission is to connect companies, universities and research centres in Europe and foster entrepreneurship and innovations. The main goal of this pan-European partnership is to develop a highly qualified food sector that will cooperate with consumers on the development of products, services and new technologies, enabling a healthier lifestyle for all European citizens.

The first part of the event will be held in English and focused on the promotion of both the EIT Food programme and the beeB project and their activities. Experts from various European institutions such as EIT Food, Polytechnic Institute of Viseu (Portugal), Estonian University of Life Sciences (Estonia), Estrategia y Organización SA (Spain), Norwegian Beekeepers Association (Norway) and the University of Zagreb – Faculty of Geotechnical Engineering (Croatia).

The second part of the event, starting at 12:35, will be held in the Croatian language and focused on the Croatian audience. The speakers will include the head of the beekeepers association “Pčela”, the company Just bees d.o.o. and a member of the Beekeeping and zoology department at the Faculty of Agrobiotechnical Sciences Osijek.

At the end of the event, the participants will be divided into teams and work on their agri-food start-up ideas.
