The beeB project is based on the development of intellectual products, training events for staff and beekeepers, and multiplier events dedicated to technicians, beekeepers and the general public.
The project contemplates the following 5 training events where all the intellectual outputs would be tested.

ESTONIA
📆 31 August to 02 Sept 2021
Training activity to test and improve the Bee health field tool, using gamification to assess and manage the beehive, involving trainers, technicians and researchers in the area of beekeeping and/or in active learning.
Innovation in beekeeping - New techniques, new products.
NORWAY
📆 13 to 16 June 2022
Training activity to further test and improve field tools using gamification to evaluate and manage the hive, Infographics and knowledge pills as training resources, and innovative beekeeping practices such as breeding to improve bee health.
PROGRAMME:
June 13th
Arrival Oslo airport, and transfer to a hotel (tba) in Oslo, social dinner
June 14th
1. Visit to Bybi (beekeepers’ association in the city of Oslo), where we learnt about the different types of beehives, took a course on sensory analysis of honey and got to know the entrepreneurial spirit of Bybis.
Visit to the Norwegian Beekeepers Association and to the production facilities of Honningcentralen (Norwegian honey cooperative).
3. Visit to Alexander Du Rietz, an innovative young professional beekeeper who combines urban and traditional beekeeping.
4. Transfer to Tønsberg and social dinner.
June 15th
1. Visit to the professional beekeeper Arve Børresen, where you learn about chemical-free varroa treatment and the collection of pollen, bee bread, propolis and drone breeding.
2. Excursion to Verdens ende (the end of the world) and social dinner. Transfer back to the hotel in Tønsberg.
June 16th
Departure of participants either from Oslo Airport (OSL), 1h 40 min by train, or from Sandefjord-Torp Airport (TRF) 30 min by bus.
